この英語表現は文字通りは饗宴か飢饉かですが
(ビジネスなどの)”浮き沈みが激しい、波瀾に富んだ”という意味で使われます。
That restautaurant is either feast or famine. A week before payday, it’s almost empty, and right after payday, it’s very crowded.
